Hotel San Giorgio is a completely renovated 3-star superior hotel, located near Napoli Centrale and Piazza Garibaldi Train Stations, the main hub of national and local transport in Naples. Rooms are air conditioned and feature a flat-screen TV, and there are free internet terminals at reception.

The San Giorgio Hotel is ideal for visiting main tourist destinations of the city and the entire coastline. The nearby Circumvesuviana Line takes you to the archaeological ruins of Pompeii or the pretty town of Sorrento.

All rooms are en suite and feature wardrobe and a safe. You will also find a small fridge.

The staff has been rewarded for its quality, and modern conference facilities are available. You can check-out at 13:00 if you show your booking confirmation upon arrival.

Clean sheets. They even folded my cloths up which was a kind of them (I was in a rush to catch a train for the day to Pompeii. It was clean even though the building was old.

It was difficult to find.

expectations were exceeded. A nice, cool, clean and cheap room in the hot and loud center of Naples

The Room was very clean. Everyday change of new super white towels. Everyday cleaning of the floors. Very clean bed sheets etc. Air condition and TV. clean bath room. Wasn't expecting this for the cheap price. But other than that perfect location to visit Centro storico and everything else in Naples. Central station and piazza Garibaldi just a few steps away. From there you get easy and fast to airport etc. Stuff about dozens of immigrants hanging around the hotel entrance all day and night wasn't true during my stay.

Via Alessandro Poerio not the best or safest streets in naples. Rooms poorly soundproofed as usual and other guest not the quietest. Reception staff wasn't very talkative in English so check in and out was very quick and not very informative when it comes to things to do in the city but nice enough anyway.

The staff responsiveness in case of issues (Air Conditioning, Wifi ... )

I did not like the fact that at check out, the reception staff presented me a hand written paper saying I had to pay 3 euros x 3 nights of city tax. Not advertised, and seemed not professional if not a scam.

Excellent if you just want a hotel as a place to sleep.

The location was very convenient, minutes away from Garibaldi Station which is the main station needed for most historical places in southern italy. It was also very close to some great places to eat. Everything was essentially what I expected for the price, it was clean, had two beds. Air con and a TV. Shower, bidet and toilet. We had a small balcony which didn't have the best view but as the weather was so nice it was nice to have the doors open and let a breeze in.

The beds are very hard. The wifi isn't particularly reliable, we had to plug the router in for our floor. When going to pay we had trouble with the card reader and the member of staff insisted we pay cash which we would not do, we asked to try again later and it worked. There looks like there is a bar but it didn't seem stocked and there was never anyone staffing it which was disappointing. Whilst we were staying the Hotel was being used as accommodation for a large number of immigrants. This was not a problem however a large number of the guests would hang outside the small space outside the hotel (as there was no communal spaces) which could be somewhat intimidating (as two female travellers) when trying to get back to our hotel. (Although we did go on to get to know a couple of the men after a few days and they were absolutely lovely). The bathroom was functional but a little drab looking. The shower cubical was tiny and it seemed like there was a panel missing. The safes in the room either had been damaged or had no power. No corkscrew behind the front desk.

Not coming back.

Didn’t really feel comfortable with a lot of parts of it - for one, it was pretty sketchy around the hotel. But more importantly I found the staff inhospitable. When I tried to check in he refused to take card, although they said they would prior, and once I realized a friend from my group was unexpectedly going to stay in Naples and asked if she could stay in my room (which had two beds), I was told the rate would go up from 50€ to 150€... pretty ridiculous for a room the size of a closet. Oh and he required that we leave our keys at the desk when we left to go out, which made me uncomfortable. Not very welcoming. Would not stay again.

Die Lage

Ein sehr schlechtes Erlebnis. Sehr kleins Zimmer, Fenster ist mit einer Schicht Staub bedeckt. WiFi ist zu schwach zu verbinden im Zimmer. Am ersten Tag war die Decke des Badezimmers kaputt, somit war Staub überall. Am zweiten Tag in einem anderen Zimmer waren Bettdecken nicht getauscht. Der receptionist ist sehr unfreundlich. Diese Hotel ist auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert.

Das Frühstück entspricht nicht dem nach deutschen Maßstäben geltenden Erwartungen -- dies ist aber wohl grundsätzlich in Italien so. Die Internetverbindung in der Lobby klappte nur manchmal - trotz erkennbarer Bemühungen, dem abzuhelfen.

большая комфортабельная кровать с хорошим постельным бельем. В номере чисто, убираются качественно. Из номера на 6м этаже имеется выход на открытую террасу-крышу, откуда открывается вид на близлежайший район Неаполя. Было любопытно понаблюдать за реальной жизнью небогатого района. Пешая доступность до центрального вокзала- это и плюс, это же и минус. Из/в аэропорта можно доехать на автобусе-экспрессе AliBus, остановка которого в 5 минутах ходьбы, то есть не надо пересаживаться на другие средства транспорта

Район вокзала- это и некоторый минус. Не самое спокойное и не самое безопасное место в Неаполе. Рядом- отдел полиции и рядом с отелем тусуются, очевидно, представители не коренного населения Италии. Они же тусуются и, возможно, живут в отеле. Имейте это ввиду, но никаких инцидентов и "косых взглядов" не было

ничего!

абсолютно безтолковый мужчина на рецепшене,который не говорит по английски! в моей комнате не подключался интернет,попросила поменять комнату,отказал! сам ничего сделать не мог и не пытался,отговорка,у меня все работает,очень повеселила! я позвонила своему знакомому,что бы он пришел и сделал инет,когда человек пришел,его не пускали,объясняя,что номер снят только на одного человека! сразу нашелся директор этой помойки и на английском мне начал рассказывать,что никто не может прийти ко мне в номер! на мои возражения,почему никто не может подключить интернет(который входит в стоимость 150 евро сутки!!!!!!!) мне ответили,что НИЧЕМ ПОМОЧЬ НЕ МОГУТ!!!!!!!
